Popcorn Popping
“I looked out the window, and what did I see?
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree!
Spring had brought me such a nice surprise,
Blossoms popping right before my eyes.
I could take an armful and make a treat,
A popcorn ball that would smell so sweet.
It wasn’t really so, but it seemed to be
Popcorn popping on the apricot tree.”
We wouldn’t be calling this “The Primary Song Collection” if this song wasn’t a part of it! This song is sung daily (or more…let’s face it…much more) in our home. How old were your kids when they first started picking up the hand actions of the popcorn popping? My little one hasn’t mastered it yet!
The white and pink blooming trees are my favorite part of spring. I love the sweet smell and the happy feelings they bring! Painting this original 18x24” acrylic on canvas made feel so excited for the transition out of winter and into spring. This painting depicts a pink, blossoming “popcorn tree” against a blue, spring sky.
Paper: Cold press, high-quality, archival grade, acid-free, 100% cotton rag inkjet paper.
Frames for paper prints are solid wood with optical-grade clear acrylic, available in white, black, and oak. Interested in matting? Message me for custom orders. Frame dimensions: 1.25″ w x 0.875″ h.
Stretched Canvas: 1.50” thick and printed on thick, archival-grade canvas that will not yellow over time. All canvas prints come with hanging wire installed.
Canvases can be framed in minimalist wood floater frames. These frames come in black, white, oak, espresso, and natural wood. The natural wood option has a more ‘raw’ appearance to it - please select oak if you are concerned about it being perfectly smooth.
Lead Time: 1.5-2 weeks. Need rushed printing/shipping? Message me for additional options.
Custom sizing: Needing a different size? Most prints can be adjusted to fit multiple sizes. If the size you’re looking for isn't listed, send me a message and we’ll see what’s possible!
