This 24x48in (BIG!) Acrylic on canvas was painted during the Eagle, Idaho Plein Air Art Festival - and it won Third Place Acrylic!

You would not believe the beautiful Schick-Ostolasa Farmstead (in Dry Creek, Idaho) these were painted on. The way these cattails blew in the wind and carried the sun was incredible - even though I worried that the wind might blow the whole painting away! The gold painted highlights and sneaky pinks are some of my favorite details from this painting, and I will be sad to see it leaving our walls! It will be living on the wall in my husbands home office until we send it to you.
